Rose Velez-Miggins

Rose has been a licensed nail technician since 1996. She currently operates doorBella Creative Concierge Service, a full service beauty and artistic agency as well as Collective Aesthetics, a platform for consultation, education, products, & resources for beauty professionals.

Rose strives to meet the needs of her clients and treats each with VIP service. She has had a very diverse roster ranging from R&B Hall of Fame artist Miss Patti LaBelle, Grammy winning artist Lauryn Hill, actor and musical artist Mack Wilds, Stephenie LaGrossa-Kendrick, 3 time Survivor (NBC) Star, to the average “soccer mom” looking for an hour of tranquility. Rose's corporate clientele include retailers such as MACY*s, Bloomingdale's, South Moon Under, and PRITI Design Co.

 

Rose's work has appeared on red carpets around the world as well as across media platforms such as Vogue, Glamour, Refinery29, Shape, People, Nailpro, Nail It!, Beauty Launchpad, Modern Salon, NAILS Magazine, Gloss Magazine (UK),  American Dreaming Magazine, and more! In December 2012, Rose was featured on the cover of the Essentials by NailPro Magazine. She was referred to “a leader, a self-starter” and “hard-working, inspirational, humble, and someone that embodies the future of the nail industry.”

 

Rose has led New York Fashion Week nail artistry teams for well-known designers such as Gypsy Sport, KYE, Cesar Galindo, 531 Jerome, Taoray Wang, Runa Ray, Michelle Helene, & Daniel Vosovic, as well as emerging designers such as Jeantrix and KahriAnne Kerr. Rose has also coordinated shows for other lead artists, designers, and beauty brands such as Kenneth Cole, Daisy Fuentes, and The Art Institutes of NYC.  doorBella Creative Concierge Service  has had exclusivity with Philadelphia Fashion Week as their nail service provider since 2010.

 

Rose is the former Director of Education for La Palm Spa Products (makers of Gel II and Pure Organics) and founder of the La Palm Leadership & Artistry Academy. She is also a Minx Nails’ Celebrity Nail Technician. She has been mentored by and has worked alongside of the industry’s finest and is a firm believer in providing others similar opportunities to those that she has been granted.

Rose has a creative vision that is clearly expressed in her work. She enjoys sharing her passion for fashion with the world and believes an outfit is incomplete without the proper manicure. She states, “Nails are a must have fashion accessory ... you can LOOK like a million bucks, but if your nails are unkempt, you won't FEEL like a million bucks!" Rose's artistry has no language, race, ethnicity, or religion; she believes freedom of expression is an invaluable privilege and is ecstatic that people are using their nails as a medium for self-expression and style. 

Rose is an asset as a member of any team because of her extensive experience in natural and artificial nail care, her creativity, as well as her professionalism. She is motivated and excels in intense, fast paced work environments. She is a quick learner and thrives in educating others as well.

When Rose is not working, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, and indulging in her other passion...make up.
